From my first Collection and exhibition aimed at questioning civic participation in governance and agenda setting in Sierra Leone.  The palm in the image is that of a grandmother from KrooBay, Freetown's infamous urban slum. She tells me of the days when 500 leones supported her entire family of 6 for a week.

It was my first time & it was terrifying.
